Bhavan's Priyamvada Birla Institute of Management

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan realized the need for creating managers with the adequate skills required for today’s business world and initiated the task of grooming world-class managers through its chain of Institutes of Management. The impetus for this initiative comes from the extensive corporate management experience that the Bhavan is privileged with, through the eminent personalities who are part of it, at the helm of its affairs. With decades of varied managerial experience, including heading large public and private sector corporations, they bring with them an urge that drives the academics.Located in the serene part of Mysuru on Hunsur Road in Vijayanagar 1st Stage, with lush green surroundings, with a good access from the Mysuru city centre, Bhavan's Priyamvada Birla Institute of Management brings quality post graduate management education, recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). This PGDm Programme (equivalent to MBA of ay recognized University) has been approved for admission to Doctrol Progrmamme of Visvesvaraiah Technological University.

Thanks to munificent donation from Smt. Priyamvada Devi Birla, the institute has state of the art infrastructure with air - conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled internet connectivity besides a well stacked library. 

Bhavan's Priyamvada Birla Institute of Management (BPBIM), brings management education from Bhavan, built over years of experience in management education with faculty and advisors with wide experience in management practices. BPBIM is located in an integrated Bhavan infrastructure on the Hunsur Road, a mere 4 kms from the heart of Mysuru.

The place is a hub of varied cultural and intellectual activities with most modern communicaton and learning infrastructure.As a storehouse of knowledge, the centre has a vast collection of reference and reading material in its spacious library. BPBIM is fully computer networked with 4MB broad band internet and a Wi-Fi environment. Aesthetically designed, the campus is furnished with learning space such as classroms, seminar halls, lecture halls, auditorium etc. Hostel facilities are provided.
