B.Sc and B.Ed Integrated Course
This is a dual-degree combination of B.Sc and B.Ed courses. One can select desired subjects in this integrated course based on personal interests. The duration of the course is four years and to become eligible for this course one has to pass the 12th board with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks in the Science stream. Doctorate in Education degree holders may get direct admission into the second academic year of this integrated program.
After BSc + B.Ed course, various career options open for the students for the future. The various job options available for the students after pursuing a degree in BSc + B.Ed are teacher, Administrator, Tutor, career counsellor, translator, creative writer, researcher, content developer, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), translator, etc.
D.El.Ed D.El.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education is an elementary teacher training diploma certificate programme. Students are trained to make them capable of taking up the role of an elementary school teacher. The duration of the course is two years. To become eligible for the course, one has to pass the 12th board in any stream with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks.
After the completion of the D.El.Ed course, the candidates have to appear for CTET or State level TET exams for starting a career as an elementary school teacher. Candidates aspiring for getting jobs in government schools will have to appear for the Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRT) conducted by the respective state government.
B.P.Ed or Bachelor of Physical Education is also known as the BPE course. This is an undergraduate degree course that focuses only on Physical Education. Candidates who have pursued B.P.Ed courses can take up different types of jobs in the field of sports. Jobs for providing physical training are available in schools and colleges.
