Music and Performing Arts are ambassadors of our Indian cultural heritage. They are the qualities of mankind that have brought joy and goodwill to life. Their adventurism has seen mankind advance to prosperity. The need for such activity has increased in today’s scientific age and its relevance today. Another outstanding contribution to the cultural glory of the state Government of Karnataka is the establishment of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing arts university, Mysuru founded in 2008-09. Globalization affects our cultural history this is our motto to nurture, develop, preserve our rich culture. the strongest media to express Human feelings is classical music, dance, folk music and all walks of life underwriters responded to react to the theater and are the mother of membership in the other art forms integration to come up with their uniqueness to the world to preach, the modern and the Monastery practices study and training, giving analytical adaptation in the fields of creativity and Research output, declaring their highness has an outstanding goal.

The main goal is to make music and performing arts an opportunity for learners and enthusiasts to accept the challenge of providing a life and livelihood. In doing so, the phenomenon is the realization of the inclusion of music and performing arts in the mainstream of knowledge in the state and nation. Traditional arts and the rest of Karnataka’s intangible heritage, music and performing arts are a treasured repository of our traditional knowledge system. As such, having a unique cultural dimension to the educational culture, reaching out to members of the broader society through the use of universal medical record keeping techniques is a matter of great concern and must be prioritized. The intensity of delivering these arts to the wider society through exhibitions also requires systematic racial and intercultural studies. Only a large institution, such as a college, will be able to realize this huge project. It is in this context that the state of Karnataka came into being. Our University has been established with the objective of researching, documenting and preserving the vision of the experts in this field, constantly interacting with the wider society and contributing to intellectual development.
