Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College (BJGMC) is a Government Medical College, located in Pune (Maharashtra). This College was established in the year 1946 by State Government. Byramjee Jeejeebhoy (Parsi philanthropist) was established the B.J. Medical School in 1871 and later It was upgraded into BJ Medical College in 1946. Presently It is Affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and Approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. The Campus is Spread Over 43 Acres of land Area. The College owns a Hospital which is Known as Sassoon General Hospital (SGH).
