The Institute of Business Management (IBM) Darbhanga is affiliated to the L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar and is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and the Deptt. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Bihar.

The IBM Established in 1980 under the aegis of the National Institute of Management Training and Education (NIMTE), IBM has the credit of being the first Management Institute in Mithilanchal. It is to be noted here that NIMTE is a non-profit making and non-proprietary Society promoted by well known educationists, Professionals, Industrialists and philanthropists. Ever since its inception, IBM has embarked on a journey of excellence in providing high quality Management education. Today the Institute has gained an identity of a new generation B-School. IBM has been working with the industry and academia for developing new domains of managerial thought and education and contributing to building leaders in today’s global business environment.

Institute of Business Management has been offering over the last three decades quality MBA programme, both for working executives as well as for freshers in a student-friendly ambience through case based interactive learning sessions by highly competent, experienced faculty members drawn from Industries/Institutes/Universities.
