Shri Narayan Sharma Teachers Training College (S.N.S.T.T.C.), a
unique name in professional education offering a genuine choice of pathways
for students. SNSTTC College is based on a new paradigm: the generative or
creative college. Research is about discovering that which already exists
“out there†while a SNSTTC college creates that which does not yet exist; it
fashions something new, innovates, makes and creates. In order to receive a
degree, students would need to “make something,†which would be construed
broadly to mean any novel creation. In addition to teaching graduates and
engaging in research, teachers would be evaluated and promoted based on their
