It is no denying a fact that no nation can survive gracefully
and flourish without its own technocrats. But unfortunately the Muslim
community, second in population in India, is far behind in the field of
modern science and technology, in lack of opportunity and encouragement. Dr S
Hafeez Salfi and his associates naturally felt the need of a Unani medical
college.
This long cherished desire and the demand of the time was fulfilled when
the “SALFIA UNANI MEDICAL COLLEGE & Hospital†was established in the year
of 1981 under the supervision and control of a registered trust “The Anjuman
Ahl-e-Hadees†Darbhanga and protected under Article 30(i) of Indian
constitution.
