Tripurasundari college of Nursing was established in 2011 at Tripura by Prof.B.Sivaramakrishnan, Chairman, Sri Sankara Educational & Charitable Trust,Trichy,Tamilnadu. The Trust, pioneer in education is running 5 professional institutions in Trichy,Tamilnadu.

Philosophy of the Nursing College

The college of nursing believed that nursing is a profession involving excellence in service, education and administration. We respect basic human dignity of individuals irrespective of their background, cast and creed. We believe man is created in the image of God and is worthy of respect. He has Physical, Psychological, Spiritual and Social needs and meeting these needs promotes an integrated and healthy person. We believe that nursing education should be community need based and involve developing critical judgment in providing care at the Preventive, Promotive, Curative and rehabilitative levels. The Primary focus of the educational programme is to prepare the student Nurse for professional Nursing Practices in all fields. The faculty of the College accepts the responsibility of helping the students to adjust to new situations and provides them with opportunity, which contributes towards development of the student as a person, responsible citizen & competent nurses.
