Homoeopathy is a system of Therapeutic Medicine, created in 1796 by Dr.Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann. Based on his doctrine of “similia similibus curenter” (likes cures likes), a claim that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people.A basic belief behind homeopathy is likes cures likes in other words something that brings on symptom in healthy person can-in a very small dose-treat an illness with similar symptoms. This is meant to trigger the body’s Natural Defences.
