National Dental College & Hospital was established in 1999 at village Gulabgarh, Dera Bassi, India (near Chandigarh) by Medical Educational and Rural Welfare Society. The college is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, and approved by Govt. of India Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
Co-curriculum, sports, Graduation ceremonies, Fresher's Party, and College Fest are discouraged. Gate opens strictly at 3 PM, before the time no one is allowed to leave the campus.

DCI Approved College Intake BDS-100, MDS-18. Separate hostel facilities are available for girls and boys with the latest recreational facilities guided and funded mostly by NRIs, Doctors, and Army officers. Students desirous of hostel facilities are advised to intimate their requirements at the time of admission. Situated at a 15 minutes drive from Chandigarh at Dera Bassi and in Chandigarh as per the choice of the students.
