Narayana Medical College was Established in 2000 by Narayana Educational Institutions, founder of Dr. P. Narayana. Dr. P. Narayana is a multifaceted personality with the sole aim of providing high-tech health care facilities to the people of Nellore and its environs. It is his endeavor to provide the most modern medical education and establish Medical Institutions and teaching hospitals, which will be upgraded to the Deemed University status.
Narayana Medical College is a higher education institute with three functions: education, service and research. In addition to offering degrees in medicine, the university provides an environment for learning and innovation through health professionals and health sciences and comprehensive medical care.
Narayana Medical College offers MBBS Course has a total of 250 seats annually and these are divided as 50% State quota and the remaining 50% under Management and NRI Quota counseling. It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission.
