Great Eastern Medical School (GEMS) was established in 2010 by Aditya Educational Society. This Educational Society was founded to establish premier educational institutions in Medical fields like Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and other allied faculties. GEMS and Hospital into a state of the art in general and super specialty hospital catering to the needs of Srikakulam and other adjoining districts of north coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Great Eastern Medical College MBBS Course has a total of 150 seats intake annually and these are divided as 50% State Quota and remaining 50% under Management and NRI Quota.
It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission.
