Sprinters
Sports Club is based in Mumbai and affiliated to the Bombay City District
Amateur Athletics Association. Since its inception in 2008, the Club has been
conducting training programmes for athletes, marathon runners, swimmers, javelin throw candidates aspiring for police/defense recruitment and general fitness
enthusiasts.
In its 10 years of existence, the club has trained athletes to compete at
state and national levels. Senior athletes like Akshay Khot, Mohnish Poojary,
Deepak Patil, Harsh Rana, Riday Jana, Swapnil Konda, Sandeep Kumar and many
others have won laurels at state and national levels. Coaches Dada Sargar and
Vijay Gupta have won many marathons in Mumbai and other cities. Our athletes
hold records at various competitions in Mumbai City.
Under the guidance of the Head Coach Mr.Ravindra Kumar Walmiki and his
team, Sprinters Sports Club is establishing its name in the field of
athletics in Maharashtra. Athletes from the club have consistently been
adjudged the ‘Fastest Man’ at various competitions in the city.
