Amritsar Chess Club

Amritsar Chess Club (ACC) was founded as a federally incorporated non-profit organization in 2014 by Shubham Trikha , as a head coach. How it Began Shubham Trikha started teaching chess in schools of Amritsar  in 2014 as a volunteer at his Bhavan SL Public School. His initial motivation was simply to provide a fun, intellectually stimulating activity. Later that year, when he started working with the Stalwart World School to prepare a school team for the city championship, he was in for a surprise: the best under-14 & under-17 chess player in Amritsar had been attending the school all along! What happened next was the watershed event that led to the philosophical foundation of Chess Institute.
