Govt. Training College (CTE)

Government Training College, Hooghly is a primeval Government Teachers Training College effectively started since 1955 A.D. It is a Government College under the auspices of Higher Education Department which is NCTE recognized vide Order No F.ERC/NCTE/(NB-S/E -5/97)/B.Ed. (Revised Order)/2015/32260 dated 27.5.15 progressing forward with the philanthropic zeal of de-elitising education and empowerment of the marginalized underprivileged trainee teachers of the society who would be shaping the destiny of a developing country in their classroom.
