Government Engineering College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. It will start its first academic session 2019 from campus of Govt.Polytechnic Nawada, Bihar. The new engineering college will have four engineering branches – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Communication with an intake of 60 per branch and 240 students in total.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the entrance test in two stages. The first stage is the screening test. The screened candidates appear in the mains Examination (second stage). Based on the Merit List of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (2nd stage), successful candidates have to go through counselling (third stage). For further details see BCECE site. For lateral entry in Second year, one must have passed Diploma in engineering/B.Sc. and should be in the merit list of BCECE(LE). We have Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities executed by various clubs for your development. We try to inculcate social and moral values among students. I believe that you would develop versatile personality during your stay in the college.
