The K. S. T. College was established in 1983 by Shri Mahendra Prasad who continued to be a life member of the College Management Committee. The College is located on Patna - Biharshrif Main Road in Salempur, Dist. Nalanda, 75 K.M. South-East of Patna and 30 K.M. from Rajgir. The College is a co-educational Institution under Grant – in – Aid category and is affiliated to Magadh University, Gaya, Bihar. Following the establishment of a new University, now the College is presently affiliated to Patliputra University, Patna, The College has been promoted and run under the aegis of Unique Educational and Welfare Foundation. The College is recognized under 2f and 12B of the University Grants Commission (UGC) since 2014. The main campus is 11.6 acres with a built-up area of over 6000 sq. m. The College imparts Intermediate and Undergraduate education. The Undergraduate Section of the College is separate and offers six undergraduate programs (BA, B.Sc., B. Com., BBM, BCA and BLIS). It is the brain child of Sri Mahendra Prasad, S/O Late Smt. Somari Devi and Late Sri Triloki Mahto, who was the life member of College Managing Commitee.This College is an integral part of the finest Center for social and educational workers of learning in Nalanda District.
