Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is established by Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust, Bangalore with an object of promoting research oriented and advanced courses in the field of engineering. It has vast experience in running professional courses in the State of Karnataka. Achieving excellence in education is the main aim of RGIT. It has the academic excellence, good infrastructure and best teaching practice, which has helped RGIT to become one of the leading Institutes of the state.The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Karnataka.
