NIT Agartala is a government governed technology institute. It was established in 2006. NIT Agartala is the 2nd NIT of the country to offer a dual-degree course in engineering physics. The computer science and engineering department also offers a 3-year degree programme leading to MCA course.It has 70th rank for engineering in NIRF 2019.
