Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC) is one of the oldest Government Medical College, run by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, located in Mumbai (Maharashtra). This College was actually established in the year 1947 as Indian Military Hospital, but in 1950 renamed after our one of the greatest freedom fighter Pandit Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and after years in 1964 LTMMC & GH established & started to work as Medical College. It is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai but now affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and Approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. The College is also known as " Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (LTMMC & GH) " and " Sion Hospital ".
