Govt. Polytechnic, Gaya was established by the act of Govt. of
Bihar in the year 1960, constituted to work under Department of Science and
Technology.
Govt. Polytechnic, Gaya is situated at the place of enlightenment of “Lord
Gautam Buddha†and is a holy place where foot marks of “Lord Vishnu†is
placed in the sacred “Vishnu Pad Mandirâ€. The City of Gaya, where the
institute is located is the place of “spiritual harmony and a divine
enlightenmentâ€.
