ABOUT US

KMC was founded in 1959 with support from prominent figures like Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It was inaugurated on July 23, 1959, and moved to its permanent 152.17-acre campus, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1966. The college was taken over by the Andhra Pradesh government in 1977. It is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC)
