Manava Manavi Samaj KalyAn Kendra, Patna, a philanthropic voluntary organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act-1860( Established 1990 ), in pursuit of its objective of Human Resource Development resolved to set up an Institute of selective professional courses, known today as Indian Institute of Health Education and Research, as an endeavor towards ensuring a sound infrastructure in the field of Health Care. The Institute aims to provide qualified professional support to the Medical and Rehab. Professions. Candidates drawn particularly from rural areas and from the weaker sections are taught and trained here in the atmosphere of socio-rural conditions tempered for dedication to the non-urban areas.

It is conducting courses as per syllabi prescribed by the Patliputra University, Patna, Bihar, Rehabilitation Council of India, IGNOU and the respective recognized Bodies for each course. The teaching and training in the Institute are provided by lecturers, professors and academicians of eminence and repute in each field.

Mission

The mission of our Indian Institute of Health Education & Research is to ensure sound infrastructural facilities in the field of health education & research. Our aim is to provide quality health education for qualified professional support to the Medical and Rehab professional. Aspirants drawn particularly from rural poor families are taught and trained here in the socio-rural environment cutting across the barriers of rural and urban area and alleviating the root of inequalities incidental to rich and poor, caste and class and other related circumstances
