About RKU

RK University is a State Private University established and approved by Govt. of Gujarat under Private University Act, 2009 and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. RK Group of Colleges was established in the year 2005 which grew rapidly, horizontally as well as vertically and was honoured with the Private University status in 2011, which was first in Saurashtra Region. Currently, RK University offers 60+ programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Applied Science & Computer Applications: from Diploma to Doctoral level, with over 5000 students & 450+ staff members. RK University is ranked 4th across the nation in Swachh Campus Ranking 2018 by MHRD, Government of India. RKU is the only state private university accredited by NAAC-UGC in western Gujarat region.

There is an emergency Ambulance van available round the clock.

In house physiotherapy centre for the need of campus students and staff members. Blood Bank and Health Care Camps periodically organized.

DINING FACILITIES

The cafeteria of University is an ideal place for students to hangout and spend leisure time. The cafeteria provides fresh & hygienic food to students.

Four different mess halls, which can accommodate more than 500 students at any given time, serve wholesome and hygienic food 4 times a day.

Arrangement has been made for the boys and girls to dine separately.

TRANSPORT FACILITIES

The University has a fleet of more than 35 buses to transport students & staff from various parts of the city to the university and back home.

Every student ¡s expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the University.

Wi-Fl internet facility allows students & faculty to share, download and access information from anywhere on the campus..

HOSTELS

Excellent residential facilities are provided for girls and boys in the campus.
