Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI), Orthanadu

Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI) is a Government College, located in Orathanadu (25 km from Thanjavur on the way to Pattukottai)(Tamil Nadu). This College was Established in the Year 2011 & Inaugurated in 2012 by Honourable former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Selvi J Jayalalitha. Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Tamil Nadu and Approved by VCI, New Delhi. The Campus is Spread Over 206.96 Acres of beautiful land Area.

To give a new impetus to livestock sector and to improve the livelihood of farmers belonging to Cauvery delta region.
