College of Veterinary Science (CVS), Tirupati

College of Veterinary Science (CVS) is a Government College, located in Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh). This Institute was Established in the Year 1955 under Act No.18 of 1955 of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Previously Affiliated to Andhra University but now It is in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati (Since 2005) and Approved by VCI (Veterinary Council of India). This college was the first in India to start “Earn While You Learn  Pork Project” in 1964 at Meat Science and Technology Department to give  work experience to students so that they can start their own self-employment plans. Campus is Spread Over 1.02 Acre of Land Area.
