Tezpur University (TU) is a Residential Central University, located in Sonitpur (at Napaam, about 15 km east of Tezpur town, Assam). This University was established in the year 1994 by an Act of Parliament (The Tezpur University Act, 1993 (Act No. 45)). The Campus is spread over 262 Acre of land Area.
