On behalf Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society (GMERS) I congratulate and welcome you all on admission in GMERS Medical College, Gotri, Vadodara!Vadodara, formerly Baroda, also known as Sayaji Nagari, was named after its famous ruler Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. It is a cultural capital of Gujarat and on the path to be the Knowledge City. It houses the world famous Maharaja Sayajirao University established in April 1949. This Jewel in crown of Baroda has 13 faculties, one school and 17 residential hostels. It caters to quality educational needs to more than 30000 students.GMERS Medical College, Gotri, Vadodara is a well developing college affiliated to this prestigious M S University of Baroda. It has all the necessary infrastructure including 750 bedded Multispecialty Hospital and a huge College campus. From the year 2011, 150 students are admitted to this College every year. I am happy to announce that we have got our first PG course started in Dermatology by the Medical Council of India.
