Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital was established in 1984 with a view to provide efficient dental health services to the ailing masses and impart dental education to the younger and dynamic students in order to achieve the goal of health for all by 2020 A.D. BIDSH is the oldest private Dental College of Eastern Northern India.
Buddha Dental College Kankarbagh was started to serve students with the best dental care and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Now the college has become synonyms with one of the Best Dental Colleges in Kankarbagh.
Post- Graduate Courses in all the nine clinical/nonclinical departments have been started with the due permission of the Dental Council of India, Government of Bihar & Magadh University. Two years of Diploma courses in Dental Mechanic, Dental Hygienist and Dental Operating Room Assistant (DORA), Microbiology have also been permitted.
