Rameshwar College

Rameshwar College, Mzaffarpur, is a constituent unit of Babasheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

It was established due to collaborative effort of professionals under the leadership of Shri Nitishwar Singh who was the son of great visionary Shri Rameshwar Singh, with a view to impart education to the under-privileged sections of society.

It was established in the year 1965 for imparting UG education. It was recognised and approved by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, under section 2(f) and 12 (B) on the 1st January 1980.

In the beginning, the college ran in Mukherjee Seminary and later on shifted to its own campus at Sikandarpur Kundal, Muzaffarpur. To provide value-based and need-based education for holistic development.

To impart life-skills to students for enabling them to face the changing educational atmosphere.
To guarantee equal educational opportunity without any discrimination to race, religion, caste, gender and disability.
To create conducive academic condition in which faculty, staff and student can achieve their goals.
To stimulate among the students a sense of being friendly to the environment and society.
To eradicate the inferiority complex from the mind of rural students by imparting them quality education.
