Dr. Kalam Agricultural College

Dr. Kalam Agricultural College, Kishanganj has been established on 10th August, 2015 by the order of the Govt. of Bihar. After foundation Bihar government decided to rename the Kishanganj Agriculture College in the remembrance of the former Hon’ble President Late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Hon’ble Chief Minister Bihar said "It was Dr. Kalam who suggested the inclusive growth model for Bihar which is rich in cultural heritage and I am happy that working on his suggestions for development has taken Bihar to a new height over the last 10 years”. Moreover, Kishanganj is known for good quality tea production apart from pineapple and jute and the first district in Bihar to produce tea at large scale.
