Sri Narayan Singh College

Sri Narayan Singh College, Motihari, East Champaran is a co-educational Constituent Unit of B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, imparting Under-Graduate teaching in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce. It is approved by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi under section 2(f) of the U. G. C. Act, 1956. The College was established in 1970 and affiliated permanently in 1980 by the Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar).More than 4,000 students are reading in the college, comprising OBC, SC, ST, PH, Minorities & General Categories. Results are praiseworthy because many of them have ranked in the University. The College awards each year a number of prizes to students for high achievement in academic & extra-curricular activities. Scholarships and other financial aid are given to deserving students on the basis of merit. Vocational Courses in Self Financial Basis are I Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Business Administration, Industrial Fish & Fisheries and Compound Aquaculture. The College provides a liberal, lively and competitive environment enabling students to carve out a niche for themselves in their chosen arenas.
