BHMS

BHMS or Bachelor of Homeopathic or Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery is an undergraduate academic degree course that covers medical knowledge of the homoeopathic system. BHMS Course duration is 5½ years which includes 4.5 years of study followed by 1 year of internship. The homoeopathic system of medicine is totally different from the allopathy system and strongly believes in the natural healing process of the body.

Eligibility Criteria for BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

1. Minimum Qualification Required Passed in 10+2 in science stream with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as their main subject in high school.

2. Candidates have to score a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have qualified in the NEET UG examination.

3. Admission to the BHMS course is done through the entrance exam.

4. The candidate should have to go through the different national and state-level entrance examinations.

5. The candidate should have a minimum of 17 years old.

6. Some states conduct entrance examinations along with the MBBS and BDS tests.

Admission Process 

1. Candidates may have to sit for the entrance, based on the college, they fill out the application form.

2. This will follow the group discussion stage and personal interview round.

3. The governing authority will assess the skills and abilities of the candidates.
