Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) was formed in the year 1986-87 for admission to all the polytechnic institutions in the state by conducting admission tests at the state level. Based on the nature of work, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has been assigned the responsibility to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE(P)).
Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination For Polytechnic entrance exam is a state-level examination held once a year. This entrance exam is for UG-level courses. Admissions would be granted to candidates for diploma courses in various fields. The courses belong to Engineering, Technology, and management.

Eligibility Criteria for JEECUP Exam
1. Age limit: Candidates should be more than 14 years of age however there is no upper age limit to apply for JEECUP 2025.
2. Residential Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of counseling.

JEECUP 2025 application process Fee
1. Application Fee: The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is INR 300, and for SC/ST category candidates is INR 200.
