Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is a National Level Entrance Examination conducted every year by National Testing Agency (NTA). The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
The examination will be conducted for candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG Courses of Agriculture fields. Qualified candidates from the examination will get admission in Agriculture courses of ICAR-recognized institutions across the country.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission (ICAR AIEEA). There are three entrance exams AIEEA-UG, AIEEA-PG, and AICE-JRF/SRF. Some fixed percentage of seats are reserved in ICAR AIEEA affiliated agricultural universities through the ICAR AIEEA exam only, and ICAR AIEEA provides a scholarship to the students as per the courses as well.
ICAR AIEEA or also known as Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission is a national-level entrance test conducted annually for candidates seeking admission to UG, PG and Research programmes in 75 agricultural universities, comprising 64 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR-DUs, viz. IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, 3 Central Agricultural Universities (CAU, Imphal, Dr RPCAU, Pusa and RLBCAU, Jhansi), 4 Central Universities (CUs) having Faculty of Agriculture (BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati and Nagaland University).

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR AIEEA UG
1. Candidates must be Indian nationals.
2. Candidates must have qualified their Class 12th from CBSE Board or its equivalent from a recognized Indian Board/University.
3. Candidates must be of 16 years as of 31 August 2023.
4. Candidates of the General, OBC, and UPS categories are required to have at least an aggregate of 50%, while candidates of SC, ST, and PC categories must have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
Eligibility Criteria for ICAR AIEEA PG
1. Candidates must make sure that they must have passed their bachelor’s degree.
2. There is no restriction for a minimum age limit.
3. Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and UPS categories must have at least 60% marks in aggregate, whereas candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PC categories must have 50% marks in aggregate.
4. Candidates appearing for M.V.Sc must have completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with internship before the date of admission.
Application Process for ICAR AIEEA Exam
The application form is available on the official website of the institute. Before applying for the exam, the candidates had to go through the eligibility criteria for their respective courses.
ICAR AIEEA 2023 application form fee for the General category was INR 500, and for the reserved category (SC, ST & PWD), it was INR 250. ICAR AIEEA 2023 application form was available online for UG and PG courses.
Candidates can make payment of the Application fee through credit card/ debit card/ net banking. The application fee is non-refundable, and the processing fee and GST charge are borne by the candidates.

Exam Pattern ICAR AIEEA
1. Mode of the exam will be online (CBT)
2. The total duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
3. 150 (of 50 each subject) questions will be asked in each section.
4. Questions will be asked in both English and Hindi languages.
5. 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
6. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Admit Card ICAR AIEEA
ICAR AIEEA admits cards for UG, PG and PhD exams are expected to be released in July. The candidates who have successfully registered for ICAR AIEEA exam were able to download ICAR AIEEA admit card from the official website of the conducting authority. The candidates will not be allowed to take up the exam without the admit card.
Result ICAR AIEEA
