Gujarat Board (GSEB)

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) control the education system administration in the state. The board conducts SSC (Secondary School Certificate) exam for class 10th and HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) exam for class 12th students.

Established under the Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972, the board's major responsibilities (other than conducting board exams) include administering secondary and higher secondary schools, preparing syllabi, and recommending textbooks to be taught in schools in Gujarat.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have released the GSEB HSC academic calendar 2025. 

Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has postponed the class 10, and 12 board exams 2021 due to a surge in the COVID-19 cases.

The board is also responsible for tasks such as recognition of new schools and performance evaluation as well as inspection of schools associated with it. GSEB is also the conducting body for GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test).

GSEB SSC Eligibility

1. All the students must have cleared their class 9 from the Gujarat Board or any other recognized board of education to be eligible to appear for GSEB SSC.

2. The students must also make sure that the minimum required attendance stipulated by the Board for Gujarat Board 10th is fulfilled.

GSEB HSC 12th Important Dates 2025

1. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released its 2025 academic calendar for secondary and higher secondary schools.

2. According to the calendar, board exams for classes 10th and 12th will be held from 14th March 2024 to 30th March 2025.

How to download GSEB Class 12 Time Table 2025?

The exam routine of GSEB Class 12 will be released online on the official website. Students can follow the steps mentioned below to download the timetable online.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of Gujarat Board, gseb.org

Step 2 - Now click on the link of ‘HSC timetable 2025’, which will be given on the home screen.

Step 3 - Click on the download button and save the timetable in PDF format.

Step 4 - Check all the exam dates and prepare accordingly.

GSHSEB Application Form 2025

Gujarat Board of School Education (GSHSEB) started the Gujarat board exam 2025 application process online in November 2025.

The application portal is open on the official website of the board - www.gseb.org

Students who wish to appear for the board examination should register before the deadline.

Also, the registration process should be carried out under the guidance of school authorities.

1. Visit the official website of GSEB

2. Select the option among 12th registration and then select the stream for which you want to apply.

3. If you want to apply for the general stream, then click on the ‘General Students’ link, then select ‘Login’.

4. Enter all the details like School Index and Password and click on Login.

5. On completion of the registration process, the process needs to be verified and approved by the Principal of the concerned school.

6. An online challan for payment of exam fees will be generated Requirements for registration: Candidate’s Name, Date of birth (DOB), Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Place of birth, Gender, Educational details, Email, Test centre preference, Caste, Reservation category, Signature, and candidate’s photograph.

GSEB Admit Card 2025

After getting the admit card, students must carefully go through all the details printed. Students are advised not to damage or lose the original copy as it won’t be easy to receive a replica of the same in time before the exam.

GSEB Syllabus 2025

1. Students should examine the entire GSEB 12th Syllabus 2025 and begin with the preparations as early as attainable.
