About Bihar Student Credit Card - Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme outlined below aims at providing financial support from the banking system to those students who have passed their Intermediate/ 12th class from institutions recognized by the Govt of Bihar, and are unable to pursue higher education due to financial constraints.
Those students of Bihar state, Who are willing to pursue higher studies in any field but due to weak financial conditions are unable to do so. Then Through this scheme, can avail of free Education loan for up to 4 lakhs and continue their studies & The most important aspect here is that the government owns the loan in the borrower’s stead, which needs to be repaid once the education is complete and the student finds a job successfully.
Important Points of Bihar Student Credit Card
1. BSCC Bihar Student Credit Card is a very ambitious scheme run by the Government of Bihar, whose aim is to encourage the youth of Bihar to higher education.
2. Under this scheme, if any student of Bihar wants to pursue higher education, then the Bihar government is giving him a loan of up to INR 400000 without any bank guarantee.
3. A student can take admission in his favourite course in Bihar or any state outside Bihar and can pay his fees from the money received from this scheme.
4. All the students of Bihar can take advantage of this scheme on an economic basis whose annual family income is less than INR 50000.
