The Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur has released the admit cards for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025, scheduled to be held on January 05, 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download the XAT 2025 Admit Card through the official website – xatonline.in.
XAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The XAT 2025 exam will be divided into two sections and will have a duration of 180 minutes.
Section 1 (170 Minutes)
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI): This section assesses candidates’ quantitative abilities, focusing on their understanding of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, modern mathematics, and other related areas. The Data Interpretation questions evaluate the candidates’ capacity to interpret, summarize, and analyze data accurately.
Decision Making (DM): The DM section will consist of real-life scenarios from both personal and professional contexts to assess candidates’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and prioritization abilities to make informed decisions.
Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR): This section tests candidates’ critical and analytical reasoning, reading comprehension (including poems and passages), vocabulary, English grammar, and other tasks such as para jumbles, cloze tests, and more.
Section 2 (10 minutes)
General Knowledge (GK): Candidates will be given 20 questions in this section of which 8 questions will be focused on static general knowledge, while the remaining 12 will cover current affairs.
General Knowledge (GK) Score: Candidates must note that the score from the GK section will be exclusively utilized by XLRI Jamshedpur for its final selection process.
Analytical Essay Writing (AEW): This year, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) will conducted during the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD / PI) round.
