The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Constable (General Duty) exam for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles for the 2026 recruitment cycle. Students must know that the exam will now take place on fresh dates.
These new dates will be announced soon on the official website. Earlier, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) was scheduled to begin on February 23, 2026.

As per the official notice, the new schedule will be announced soon. Once released, candidates will be able to check it via the official website.
Well, the commission has also clarified that there will be no slot selection facility for this examination. The exam dates and centres will be assigned directly by the commission.
The individual admit cards are released 2 to 3 days before the candidate’s exam date.
