Overview

The SITEEE exam is the Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam, a computer-based test for admission to B.Tech program at Symbiosis International University (SIU). It is a separate entrance exam from the general Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which is for management programs. The SITEEE assesses students' aptitude for engineering and is conducted across multiple cities in India.  

SITEEE Highlights

Eligibility Criteria for SITEEE

1.     Candidate must have passed Class 12 (or an equivalent exam) from a recognized board.

2.     Candidate must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject in class 12, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject.

3.     Candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates).

4.     The exam is open to both Indian and foreign nationals. 

SITEEE Exam Pattern

The SITEEE is a computer-based, multiple-choice question (MCQ) test. 

·         Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes).

·         Total questions: 60.

·         Marking scheme:

o    2 marks for every correct answer.

o    There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

·         Sectional distribution:

o    Physics: 15 questions, 30 marks.

o    Chemistry: 15 questions, 30 marks.

o    Mathematics: 30 questions, 60 marks. 

SITEEE Syllabus

The syllabus for SITEEE is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Key topics include: 

·         Physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Optics, and Modern Physics.

·         Chemistry: Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry.

·         Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Coordinate Geometry. 

How to Apply

The application process is completed online through the official website,

 set-test.org. 

1.     Register online: Create an account on the official website.

2.     Fill the application form: Provide personal, academic, and contact details.

3.     Upload documents: Submit a recent color photograph and signature.

4.     Pay the application fee: The entrance test fee is INR 2,250, plus an additional INR 1,000 for each program you apply for. 

Selection process

·         Candidates must register and apply for the exam on the official SET website.

·         After the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates must register separately for their preferred program at the respective Symbiosis Institute of Technology campus.

·         Admission is based on the cumulative score from the SITEEE and other components of the selection process.

SITEEE 2026
