The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, has extended the application deadline for the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2025. Originally set to close on March 12, 2025, the deadline has now been extended until March 31, 2025.
Interested candidates, with educational qualifications as basic as the 10th standard, can apply for various internships on the official website: pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Eligibility Criteria For PM Internship 2025
1. Age: Applicants must be between 21 and 24 years old (as of the application deadline).
2. Education: Candidates who are high school graduates, diploma holders, or possess degrees such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, etc., are eligible to apply. Those enrolled in online or distance learning programs can also apply.
3. Income: The family’s annual income (self, spouse, or parents) should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh.
4. Internship Duration: The internship lasts for one year (12 months), making it an ideal opportunity for those not currently working or studying full-time.
Interns will receive a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month for the entire 12-month duration. Interns will also receive a one-time grant of Rs 6,000, credited directly to their account after joining. Interns will be covered under the Government of India’s insurance schemes.
