National Scholarship Portal is the online portal that is built to provide or manage scholarship schemes for the students of the country. NSP works in Pan India, considering the future aspects of a student. NSP aims to help the children financially so that they can study properly without worrying about the expenses of their studies. It carries a plethora of schemes offered by the Central Government, State Government, and other government institutions like AICTE, UGC, etc.
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) covers all types of scholarships for Pre Matric, Post Matric, UG, PG, Professional & Technical Courses, PhD level, etc. for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minorities/ Students with Disabilities category. Through the NSP Portal, student applications are verified, receipts are issued, applications are processed, and scholarship amounts are sanctioned and disbursed.
The National Scholarship Portal 2.0, or NSP 2024, offers a wide range of scholarship schemes available through NSP 2.0 or scholarships.gov.in. The selection of students for a particular scheme is based on eligibility criteria, and the number of scholarships offered for each scheme is limited.

Eligibility Criteria for NSP
1. Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
2. The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X.
3. Scholarship will be awarded to the students studying in Classes XI and XII including technical and vocational courses of this level including Polytechnics, ITIs, and other courses.
National Scholarship Portal Registration 2023-24
Step 1 Visit the leading portal of the National Scholarship Portal.
Step 2 Register to the portal using your academic, personal, and more details.
Step 3 Now, perform the National Scholarship Portal CSC login using the credentials generated in the previous section.
Step 4 Tap on the direct link for the scholarship 2023-24.
Step 5 Enter the details as needed in the form.
Step 6 Upload the document such as bank details via Bank Passbook, domicile certificate, birth certificate, previous academic marksheets, signature, photograph, and more. All these documents should be in an appropriate format else the registration will be cancelled.
Step 7 Submit the form. An application number will be generated from this form that you have to keep safe with you.
