NEET PG Counselling 2024: MCC releases schedule check dates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling schedule. The NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule is available at the official website — mcc.nic.in.

According to the schedule, the registration window for Round 1 counselling will close on November 17, 2024. MCC will conduct the NEET PG Counselling 2024 in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Stray Vacancy Round. The registration process began on September 20. As per the schedule, MCC will announce the NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1 seat allotment result on November 20, 2024.

As per the schedule released by the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS), verification of the seat matrix will be done on November 7 followed by choice filing and locking options that will begin from November 8 and end on November 17 at 11:55 pm.

The seat allotment process will begin from November 18 and will conclude on November 19. The results for the round one will be announced on November 20 with reporting for the candidates between November 21 and 27.

MCC will conduct counselling for the following institutions/ universities:

1. 50 per cent all India quota seats of all states (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats).

2. 100 per cent seats (AIQ seats + institutional quota seats) of central universities

3. 50 per cent AIQ PG seats of colleges under the Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons)

4. All PG seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only registration part).

5. Central institutes, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS and RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur (50 per cent AIQ seats and 50 per cent seats of IP University).
