1. This Scholarship has been started by the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities, and Backward Classes Welfare Department of the Jharkhand Government. The scholarship is provided to the students of the state who cannot complete their studies further due to financial compulsion.

2. Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 7,500 per annum.

3. Adhoc Grant of Rs. 1,000 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria of Jharkhand scholarship 2023

1. Students need to have a domicile certificate from Jharkhand.

2. The scholarship is available for meritorious students of SC/ST and backward classes.

3. The family income of the SC/ST student must be less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum.

4. The family income of the backwards-class student should be less than 1.5 lakh per annum.
