The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to open the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 in the last week of January 2026, as per the official update. Once the application link is activated, eligible candidates will be able to apply online within the given deadline. Students who registered for the January 2026 session can also apply for the April attempt.
The last date to submit the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form is tentatively set for the third week of February 2026. The form correction facility will be available in the last week of February. The answer key is expected to be released in March 2026.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9 in two shifts. Candidates planning to appear for the April session are advised to go through memory-based question papers from the January attempt to understand the exam pattern and key topics.
This year, NTA has introduced changes in the JEE Main 2026 application process. Candidate details will be verified through Aadhaar-based e-KYC. Students are advised to ensure their Aadhaar details are updated at the nearest Aadhaar centre.
Applicants will also be required to capture a live photograph using a webcam or laptop, or upload it through a QR code provided during the application process.
