Epass Karnataka Scholarship 2023 Benefits for State Students

Karnataka welfare department provides scholarships to Backward class students for a period of 10 months in the Academic year. Applicants should belong to the economically Backward Class and their family annual income should be less. Candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST are eligible for Karnataka epass Post-Matric and Pre-Matric scholarships.

Government of Karnataka state, Welfare Department of Backward classes issues every year Karnataka epass scholarship 2023 to Backward class students comes under BC, SC, and ST through Karnataka ePass Scholarship 2023. Under this scheme, Backward-class students study will be benefited from this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka epass Scholarship 2023

To apply for the scholarship, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

1. Candidates should be an Indian citizens and should be domiciled in Karnataka State

2. Candidates should have studied for at least 7 years in Karnataka

3. Candidates should be of backward class category and had to attach a valid caste certificate

4. Candidates should have completed their post-graduation, professional courses.

5. Candidates should be of reserved class

6. Candidates must have secured 90% marks in the last qualifying examination from any recognized government board

7. Candidates should have 75% attendance in college The income of the family should not be more than Rs 1,00,000, if they belong to 2A, 3A and 3B schemes

8. Candidates’ Aadhar card should be linked to their bank account because the amount of the scholarship will be credited directly to their bank account.

9. If the candidate’s family income under Prakash Scheme (SC/ST) should not exceed Rs 2,50,000.
