CLAT 2026: The registration date for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 has been extended. According to the official notification, the previous registration deadline was October 31, which has now been extended to November 7. The mode of examination is offline and is scheduled to take place on December 7 with five sections, including English language, current affairs and general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques. The candidates can fill the registration forms on the official website, https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/.
The interested students must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 45 per cent marks and 40 per cent for those belonging to the reserved categories to take admission in the undergraduate courses. On the other hand, the candidates aiming for postgraduate courses must have an LLB degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and 45 per cent for those belonging to the reserved categories.
For the students belonging to the General, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, and OCI sections, the registration fee is Rs. 4,000, and for the candidates who belong to the SC and ST categories, the fee is Rs. 3,500.
The documents required to apply for the CLAT 2026 exam include a passport-sized photograph, scanned signature, category certificate (if applicable), PWD certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate (if applicable).
