The Central Board of Secondary Education has invited students to apply for CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child and announced the renewal of online applications of 'CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child Scholarship X Pass awarded in 2020 (Renewal 2021)'.The CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
The last date to submit the application is January 17, 2022. Candidates can check other details like eligibility conditions and the application form on the Board’s website, i.e. www.cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Scholarship Scheme For Single Girl Child: Eligibility Criteria
1. A candidate must be a single girl child, to be eligible for the CBSE scholarship, with a grade point average of at least 60% in their class 10 exam.
2. In class 10, the applicants’ tuition fee shall not exceed Rs 1500 per month.
3. For classes 10 and 12, the girl should also be enrolled in a CBSE school.
4. The school fees in plus-2 courses should not have grown by more than 10% from that in class 10.

Students who have completed class 10 as a single girl child may apply in the following manner:
Step 1: Go to cbse.nic.in, which is CBSE’s official website.
Step 2: On the home page, scroll down and pick the Scholarship option.
Step 3: Go to the CBSE Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child 2020 link on the new window.
Step 4: Take a print, fill out, and submit the application form.
Step 5: Make a hard copy of it for future reference.
