The BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) has re-opened the online application portal for the recruitment of headmaster posts. As per the new notification, the candidates can now apply till May 16 for the jobs.
The recruitment is being done for more than 6,000 vacancies by the Education Department and SC & ST Welfare Department, the Government of Bihar. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of the organization, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Eligibility Criteria for BPSC Head Master Vacancy 2024

1. Age- The candidate should be between the ages of 37 years to 47 years. Candidates belonging to any category are going to be given maximum age relaxation, according to the rules.
2. Educational qualification- The candidates must carry a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate from a recognised institution. They should have certificates in the courses, D.El.Ed, B.T, B.Ed., B.A.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, and B.L.Ed. They must have qualified for the TET or the Teacher’s Eligibility Test.
3. As per reports, the candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in secondary school teaching from a state government school, and 12 years from schools affiliated with CBSE, ACSE, and BSEB.
Application Fee:
The candidates under the categories of SC/ST/Female/PWD have to pay Rs 200, while the general category candidates have to pay Rs 750.
