GOKDOM Scholarship 2024 will be very helpful for the students who are currently studying in the Karnataka state and all of the underprivileged students will be getting a number of benefits through this scholarship presented by the Government.
The minority community of the Karnataka state will be provided with a large number of benefits through this scholarship presented by the Government. The minorities' religions, like Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, Christians etc., benefit through this GOKDOM minority scholarship scheme.
Benifits of GOKDON Scholarship 2024
GOKDOM scholarship scheme covers almost all of the scholarship schemes launched by the government for the welfare of lower-income families belonging to minority communities.
The GOKDOM scholarship amount provides the tuition fees and admission fees to the eligible candidates and the maintenance allowance for the pre-matric and post-matric scholarships for minority communities of Karnataka.
Up to INR 30,000 remuneration is provided to the eligible applicants under merit-cum-means scholarship for minorities, Karnataka.
Scholarship amount up to INR 20,00,000 per annum up to 2 years, including the cost of course, living expenses and one side airfare, is sanctioned to the selected scholar for the National Overseas scholarship for minority community students, Karnataka.
One time incentive of INR 10,000 is provided to SSLC students. An amount of INR 20,000 is granted to II PUC students by the government of Karnataka under the GOKDOM scholarship.
MPhil and PhD fellowship students belonging to the minority communities of Karnataka, a contingency grant of INR 10,000 per annum is entitled.
Eligibility Criteria for GOKDON Scholarship
1. To Be Eligible For The GOKDOM Scholarship, Applicants Must Be Residents Of Karnataka, And They Must Belong To One Of The Minority Communities Recognized By The Government Of India, Including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, And Parsis.
2. Applicants Must Be Pursuing Their Education In A Recognized Educational Institution In Karnataka, And They Must Have A Minimum Of 50% Marks In Their Previous Qualifying Examination.
3. Scholarship Provides Financial Assistance To Cover The Cost Of Tuition Fees, Maintenance Allowance, And Other Educational Expenses.
4. The Amount Of The Scholarship May Vary Depending On The Level Of Education, Course Duration, And Other Factors.
5. The Fresh Applicants Should Have Secured 50% Marks In The Last Annual Board/Class Examination (Not Applicable For Students Studying In 1st Std).
6. Students Should Belong To Karnataka State.
7. Students Of Karnataka Domicile Studying In Other States.
How to apply for Gokdom Scholarship on Online & Offline mode?
1. The Candidates have to visit the official website of the Karnataka Directorate of Minorities to fill the online Application Form.
2. Candidates will have to click on the “Register as a New User” link.
3. Candidates will need to go through all the guidelines and then candidates will have to click on the “Continue” button.
4. After that the Registration Form has to be filled with all the Details required.
5. Next candidates will have to fill the Application Form with all the required inputs.
6. Then candidates need to click on the “save and continue” tab.
7. A new window will open where candidates need to provide Contact details and Scheme details.
8. Next upload scanned copies of the original documents.
9. Click on the submit button.
10. Keep a print out of the Application Form for future references.

The GOKDOM Application Form for eligible minority students of Karnataka is available from the Last week of July to the 15th of October every year to apply.
